Put-In-Bay is a small island, in Lake Erie (a lake that's 1,5 drive from us). The island is called the South Bass Island. It has around 700 people living there, and it's 6km long.
The way to the island was from Catawba Point, you see it on the map. We sailed by ferry.
From the ferry you could see a Canadian island. On pictures you can't see it.
When we arrived at the island, we took a bus to the center of the island, and rent golfcarts:
We have driven around the whole island. We have also been on a tower. It's a stone monument.
But inside the monument is a elevator, that brings you to the highest point of the island. I have a few pictures of the island, and how it looks like from a high point:

And we traveled the whole island by golfcart. During the drive, we stopped a few times:

But, we don't need the police to stop the fights, because we have: mama Hearons:
And something else... when we were driving aroud, there were places where you saw a lot of trees.. and in front of all trees, this:
It is possible to buy the land, and do what you want. Most of the people cut all trees and build a house. But that needs a lot of time and work!
On the way back to the car, on the ferry, we had very bad wether. The waves were big, and it rained:
But we ended the day, with a beautiful rainbow:
