Schoolweek 22&23

Schoolweek 21 (January 10th): First made points for Anthony Wayne Basketball:

It was very cool, because all the students, parents and teammates were all freaking out. Everybody was yelling and clapping haha :)

Everybody who ordered, got the team pictures. I also ordered a big poster with my individual picture on it. And because I'm a senior, they hang it in the gym. Look:

Begin of schoolweek 22 (January 12th).. MORE SHOW = NO SCHOOL

At the end of school week 22 we went to a water park an hour away from our house (January 17&18th). We arrived at 3:30PM and we left the next day (after an amazing breakfast) around 1:00PM.

This picture is of a surfing place. Normally, when it is on and working, there is water coming and you can do some tricks. I have a video where you can see me doing it (the quality is probably not very good..):

Schoolweek 21 (not really "school" week)

Not really a school week this week. This is because of the weather. We have a lot of cold and snowy days. 

Monday: 2 hours delay in the morning.

Tuesday: school canceled because of snow on the roads.

Wednesday: school

Thursday: school canceled because of cold weather and a lot of wind. In the morning it was -22 degrees Celsius. And because of the wind it felt like -28 degrees Celsius.

Friday: school canceled because of the snow.

Today (Friday 9th) I shuffled the drive way:

On Tuesday my team had a basketball game. We lost that game, but I got a few minutes to play! My first minutes of the season :) And this game was live on tv!

Schoolweek 20 (Cavaliers NBA game)

January 4th, last day of our 2 week break. NBA GAME.

Dallas Mavericks - CLEVELAND CAVALIERS (1:00 PM)

Cleveland City:

We arrived around 12 o'clock. But we had to eat something before we got in the stadium.

We saw a food place called Panini's. This place had only sandwiches and pizza.

I read that french fries are always included to the sandwiches.

I got a sandwich with ham, bacon and egg. This is what I got:

The french fries were included, because they were on the sandwich, together with all the other stuff. It was so good!!!

Some information about the players:

Cleveland Cavaliers:

A very important tall guy, Varejao, got injured and is out for the rest of the season, so we didn't got to see him playing.

Kyrie Irving, point guard, got injured during this game. Didn't play the last quarter. 

LeBron James, one of the best players in the NBA  right now. A reason to come and watch the Cavaliers is because people want to see him, because he is so good. He got injured a few days before the game was. This was bad bad news for us. He was not even at the game. 

Kevin Love, very good player. I'm very happy I got to see him!

Dallas Mavericks:

Rajon Rondo, he just got moved to Dallas from Boston (he got traded). I was happy I got to see him playing.

Chandler, a very strong and big guy. A lot of people know him, very cool to see!

Dirk Nowitzki, number 7 on the all time scoring list of the NBA! Very good player.

We are lucky to see so many good players!

Unfortunately the Cavs lost this game by a lot of points. But it was a great experience to see this game! And there were so many people!

After the game we could go on the court and shoot a free throw!
