March 26th - April 5th FLORIDA TRIP

Thursday March 26th, around 5 o'clock. (We were "sick" for school on Friday)
We left to Florida, by car... a 17 hour road trip ahead! Jacksonville, Florida... here we come!

We drove the whole night. It was very cool to see how the environment changed. First pictures of Ohio, and than from Southern Georgia.

Some more pictures from in the car:

We arrived the next day at Krista's house. Krista is Kathy's sister. They have a very nice, enough space for us to stay. The have a pool too! In the backyard they have a nice view on the golf course... but besides that they have a nice view on small alligators too!! Look:

Here a picture of the house and the pool. The neighborhood was very nice, a lot of big houses!:

And some other pictures of the backyard:

March 28th, my first meet with the Atlantic Ocean!

Before we went to St. Augustine, we watched a baseball game of the 5 year old Brody. Brody is the son of Eden's cousin, Kati. It was funny how to see him playing around with all the little kids.

It was pretty good weather, but to cold to lay on the beach and possibly go for a swim... We went up on the pier too! When we were on the pier we saw a big see turtle swimming, but I didn't get a good picture of that.

St. Augustine is the oldest city in the United States. We went here to look around and have dinner with the family! St. Augustine is 45 minutes away from the house where we stayed.

After dinner the kids went on a 'ghost trip'. Because this is the oldest city of the US, it is haunted. So we went to different places, that has "paranormal activity". Including the Oldest Jail of the US.

The next days we had some very relaxed days. We went to the beach one day. It was very warm, but cloudy. We hung out with the cousins and the kids of the cousins. It was a lot of fun!

So, Clark and I were playing pool together. During that the kids were making fun of me haha. I told them something that's really cool. Put "billart"-chalk on your nose! Guess what? Now I could make fun of them haha!

NEXT UP: Visiting grandma Hearons
and DISNEY WORLD ORLANDO

Grandma Hearons lives 4,5 hours away from Jacksonville, where we stayed.
April 2nd, DISNEY WORLD

There were a lot of things similar to Disney Land in Paris. It was a lot of fun! Here pictures of the park:

After a long day, we watched the fire work show... THE BEST FIRE WORK SHOW I HAVE EVER SEEN! :)

The last days in Florida were relaxed. Played basketball outside, swam, ate and played with the kids :)

And yeah... we had to go back home again :( Back to the cold Ohio.
On our way back home we stopped in Cincinnati, University of Cincinnati. Eden is going to school here next year. Its about 3 hours from their house.

During our whole trip we had a game with us, the License Plate game. We had to flip the small licence plates on this game if we saw that license plate somewhere:

And last but not least... a family picture, made with a selfie-stick:
